Carla Harris-Marsh

I am inspired by the energy that surrounds and connects us all—the human energy fields, our interactions with the universe, and how these energies manifest within our bodies and souls. My work explores the notion of energy, infusing each piece with high-frequency vibrations through the act of creation. By playing high-frequency music while I work, I intentionally embed these energetic frequencies into my art, allowing it to resonate with those who engage with it.

I create art as a form of education, enjoyment, and personal expression. It is a meditative process that clears space in my mind and invites others to experience a moment of stillness and connection. My medium of choice is kiln-formed glass, a material whose transformative process mirrors the flow and transformation of energy. Each piece begins intuitively, guided by ideas and the vibrant colors of the chakras. I allow serendipity to guide my work, trusting in the process to bring the piece together harmoniously.

My goal is for my art to resonate energetically with viewers, creating a shared wavelength or vibrational experience. I hope it lifts spirits and evokes positive or thought-provoking emotions. My background as a senior youth worker has deeply influenced my approach to art and teaching. Working intuitively and creatively with young people honed my ability to connect on an interpersonal and energetic level. I bring this same warmth, love, and attentiveness to my art, ensuring that my work flows with intention and care.

Living in rural Leicestershire, at the heart of the National Forest, I am surrounded by the grounding and peaceful energy of nature. This environment nourishes my creativity, providing inspiration and balance. Through my work, I strive to channel this harmony, creating pieces that invite others to pause, reflect, and connect with the positive energies within themselves and the universe
